How much does clock repair cost?
Most work is quoted after inspection because the movement, not the case, determines the labor. A cleaning and oiling on a simple time-only movement is the low end; a triple-chime grandfather movement needing bushings sits considerably higher. You get a written estimate before we begin and a phone call before any additional work.
Do you make house calls?
Yes. Grandfather and other tall-case clocks are usually serviced in the home or collected by us. We cover Denton, Denton County and surrounding North Texas communities.
How long does a repair take?
Two to four weeks is typical for a full overhaul, because the movement runs on test for one to two weeks after reassembly before it is regulated and released. Small adjustments are often same-week.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — one year on our labor for a complete overhaul, provided the clock has not been dismantled or lubricated by someone else in the meantime.
